Make a Vietnam lightweight concrete pots

Material :

  • Gloves peat
  • "Portland" cement
  •  Perlite
  • Large and small bins
  • Water
  • Plastic bag
  • Drill, optional

Mixing one gallon peat, one gallon "Portland" cement, and one gallon perlite together.

Slowly add  1/2 quarts of water as if you were making dough, being sure to add the last part of water slowly.

Transfer mixture to a smaller bin. Use any container to shape.

Place a lid on bin to prevent mixture from drying unevenly, which affects curing. Place in plastic bag.

Leave in bin for 24 to 36 hours to dry.

Remove planter from bin.

To create optional drainage, drill holes in bottom.

We have a lightweightconcrete pots here. Then fill them with dirt and whatever flowers your little heart desires. I mainly use flowers that will grow and eventually drape over the edge of the buckets (ivy, vinca vine, petunias, Calibrachoa etc). Now it’s look great!!!!
